Awesome day fishing today with Ben! We started out early today at Bushkill Creek and immediately caught fish. Ben B. guided my sons Nick and Mike on their fly fishing debut. As both boys are novice fishermen, they relied heavily on Ben. Ben’s knowledge of the water and his ability to share his knowledge were invaluable. I went on a guided trip with Ben B. on May 8th. We first went to a small stream through the game lands where we easily caught some wild brown trout and some native brook trout. We then went to a larger stream with stocked fish. I had an excellent experience at both streams. Ben is a young man with an amazing amount of fly fishing experience. He has great skill in locating trout on the streams. I look forward to taking another guided trip with him in the future. Researched fly fishing guided outings for my son (13) and I while on our Lake Harmony vacation and found American Standard Fly Fishing Guides. Ben hooked us up with all the necessary gear along with snacks and drinks making the whole thing trouble free so my son and I could just focus on the fishing and making memories. It was an awesome experience! This was our first time fly fishing - Ben was patient and extremely knowledgeable. We hit several spots throughout the half day. Ben knew exactly where the fish were and what they liked to eat. My son landed our first fish of the day and that alone was priceless. In the end, we learned a lot and had an unforgettable experience.

Amazing experience with Ben. Took a friend of mine with no fly fishing experience on a day trip. Ben put us on fish right away and I would end up catching my personal best brown trout at 22 inches.
Ben had all the equipment needed for my friend (I brought my own personal rods and such) and even brought snacks, water, and coffee. I'm a pretty experienced fly fisherman but Ben, was on the US Fly Fishing Team refined my casting and even taught me how to bow cast in minutes.
